i can honestly say i have personal experience of faith being built on sand. that was my entire christian upbringing in a way. when i could no longer accept one part of the faith (the inerrancy of the bible) the rest came tumbling down as well. today i feel my foundation is much stronger than before - though i feel actually like i believe in less - and have faith in more.
